Yes, you read it correctly. Underwater movement therapy is offered by specialised physiotherapists. You train at shallow depths in the warm tropical sea water. The HE&CC offers Aqua-variety, Aqua-jogging and Aqua-aerobics.

Aqua-variety?
Is a combination of a variety of aquasports: aqua-aerobics, aqua-jogging, aqua-steps and hydro-fit. The training is offered at various water depths using a variety of equipment. Muscle strength and endurance tasks are available.

Aqua-jogging
Involves various forms of running in deep water while using a floatation belt. Aqua-jogging is suitable for people who wish to improve their physical condition, strengthen their muscles, loose weight or who just enjoy moving around in water. As aqua-jogging is in deep water, you must be able to swim.

Aqua-aerobics
Involves training for improving general muscle tone and condition to music in water. The depth of the water is from hip to chest deep. Aqua-aerobics can be strenuous, but the combination of movement, rhythm and melody is fun and stimulating. Aqua-aerobics is suitable for people of all age!
