Specialised drift diving
Why make things difficult it can be done with ease? For drift diving the HE&CC has special mini-sonar devices which can be used to locate the arranged pick-up place. All the stress involved with finding the arranged pick-up point and swimming against difficult currents are no longer issues. For safety reasons, a supervisor travels with you in a canoe during your dive.

The wreck dive capital of the Caribbean
The majority of the 42 dive locations can be quickly reached with a small boat. The boat trips themselves are a fantastic experience and should not be missed. Most of the dive places are located off the south-west coast and the offshore wind ensures that the sea is generally peaceful. This makes it an outstanding snorkelling environment. There are too many amazing dive locations in Aruba to list them comprehensively here, however a few of the most popular dives are:

Dive therapy (duration 30 minutes to 1 hour)
In the water, physical limitations dissolve. Through the pressure distribution below 5 meters, blood cells become circular. The blood circulation improves which decreases pain and muscle spasticity. The increased oxygen level in Nitrox 36, dampens pain and spasticity. These symptoms last for a few hours after a dive. Consider what this can mean for you if you have a physical restriction. Taking part in recreational activities such as diving has enormous advantages.

Mobile and permanent recompression chambers for diving accidents
In order to keep the risks of diving as small as possible, the HE&CC has a transportable pressure chamber. Using this portable chamber, people can then brought to the permanent large chamber for further treatment. During this time users can receive visitors using a special chamber.
